Always passionated about art since childhood, he followed his passion in his first years travelling the world to study great artists in the big museums, such as the Metropolitan Museum New York, Moma, Frick Collection, Vatican Museum, Tate Museum and Prado.
Admiring the old masters´ technique he challenges himself by creating a totally new style through a combination of all influences and impressions he had experiencing great artwork of the past centuries. Benjamin Rayhers´ artwork nurtures from a wide range of materials and techniques. Each detail in his work is made with the very highest demands to himself.
